Skoda are running a competition giving you the chance to drive away a brand new Skoda Fabia VRS for free by solving clues posted on the Skoda Puzzle YouTube site. There are also lots of weekly prizes to be won on Facebook over the coming weeks. The competition is free to enter for residents aged 18 years and over of the UK and runs from 25 April to 2 July 2011.

Skoda are running this win a car competition as part of their sponsorship of 'Crime on 5' this summer. The contest has attract lots of interest already with over 1 million channel views so far.

The type of puzzle varies from one week to another, ranging from word-based brainteasers to finding a destination using Google Maps. For example, week 2's puzzle is an anagram of the letters 'DO AND ASK IF', which also spells 'FIND A SKODA'. The company is also releasing clues via links on their Facebook page.

Puzzles must be solved sequentially in the right order and you must keep your cookie history intact to ensure your previous entries are recorded every week. The final puzzle entries must be submitted between 8pm and 10pm on Friday 1st July (the closing date of the competition).

Up for grabs is a Skoda Fabia VRS Hatch 1.4 TSI 180PS DSG 7SPD. The winner is expected to receive the car as early as August 2011. The prize also includes 12 months road fund licence, DVLA first registration fee, road tax and 1 year's insurance from Skoda Insurance.

To qualify for the free insurance, the winner must have held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on their driving licence and not have been banned from driving in the past 5 years.

Successful stage one entrants will be awarded a Skoda Puzzle ticket to take part in the stage 2 live event at a secret location in the UK. All entries must be received by Monday 27th June 2011.

Nice competition

I enjoyed solving the puzzles every week although I did find a couple a bit difficult! I managed to complete stage 1 successfully before 27 June now I just hope I'll get the ticket invitation to the live event, crossing my fingers :) good luck everyone. Lx
