Every year, Corvette Dream Giveaway Sweepstakes give you the chance to win 2 stunning Corvettes and help support Kids Wish Network's HERO program. The current sweepstakes is under way with a stunning 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe and a special edition 2011 ZR1 720 horsepower Corvette up for grabs. The grand prize is worth $275,000 and could be yours in return for a $3 donation. We meet some of the past winners of this annual fundraiser.

The Corvettes were handed over at an official ceremony on 28th February 2011 where Mr. Landgren and his 14 year-old son Nick finally got the chance to test drive the amazing cars. This also provided the opportunity for representatives of participating hospitals to reiterate the importance of the "Hero" award and of continued support of this program.

Mr. Landgren first entered the 2010 Corvette Dream Giveaway in August, but it was a second $100 donation in December that proved to be the lucky entry. As you'd expect, his initial reaction when he received the winning phone call was one of disbelief ("you're kidding?") until reality finally kicked in.

The 2009 Corvette Dream Giveaway was just as exciting with a fully restored 1967 427 Corvette roadster and a unique Hero Edition ZR1 offered as star prizes.

David Melitski won the sweepstakes after donating $400 in both the 2008 and 2009 Giveaways. His perseverance paid off and the young New Jersey State Trooper was handed the keys by 15-year old Dylan Ethridge, Kids Wish Network's 2009 Hero of the Year at the ceremony on 23rd January 2010.

Kids Wish Network helps improve the quality of life for hospitalized children throughout the United States. The "Hero" program allows hospitals to recognize a special child each month that has faced traumatic and life-changing circumstances with a valuable gift package and recognition in the community.

Well done

What a tremendous prize. I congratulate the winners for helping support such a worthy cause. In both case they donated generously and I feel this is good karma paying them back. Well done and I'm sure that 14-year old kid can't wait to get his driving license!!
